Mac 직접 연결

원격 로그인이 켜진 맥에 SSH로 연결해 배터리를 읽기 위해 다음 정보를 처리합니다.

• 앱이 만든 연결 식별자, 표시 이름, 맥 주소와 포트
• Mac 사용자 계정 이름과 사용자가 입력한 로그인 암호
• 신뢰한 SSH 호스트 키의 지문과 연결 상태
• 조회한 배터리 잔량, 충전 상태, 마지막 확인 시각

연결 설정, 호스트 키 지문과 배터리 캐시는 앱과 위젯이 함께 사용하는 기기 내 앱 그룹 저장소에 저장합니다. 암호는 연결에 사용하며, 성공한 연결의 암호를 앱과 위젯이 공유하는 해당 기기의 키체인에 저장합니다. 키체인 항목은 기기를 재시작한 뒤 처음 잠금을 해제한 이후 사용할 수 있는 기기 전용 방식(AfterFirstUnlockThisDeviceOnly)이며, iCloud 키체인 동기화를 사용하지 않습니다.

배터리 조회는 아이폰·아이패드와 사용자가 연결한 맥 사이의 암호화된 SSH 통신으로 이뤄집니다. 개발자 서버를 거치지 않으며, 앱은 이 연결 정보와 SSH로 조회한 배터리를 CloudKit에 업로드하지 않습니다. 이 방식에는 iCloud 로그인이 필요하지 않습니다.

같은 네트워크의 맥을 찾고 연결할 때 iOS의 로컬 네트워크 권한을 사용합니다. 검색 결과를 개발자에게 보내지 않습니다. 기기 백업 등 운영체제의 정보 처리에는 사용자의 설정과 Apple 정책이 적용됩니다.

빌드 5에 남아 있는 iCloud 호환 기능

현재 iOS 빌드 5의 바이너리에는 기존 CloudKit 동기화 코드가 포함돼 있습니다. Mac 직접 연결이 하나 이상 등록되면 이 기능 대신 SSH 직접 연결만 사용합니다. 직접 연결이 없고 iCloud를 사용할 수 있는 경우에는 기존 기기 기록을 불러오고 현재 기기의 상태를 저장할 수 있으며, 다음 정보를 처리합니다.

• 앱이 기기에서 무작위로 만든 기기 식별자
• 기기 이름과 종류(아이폰·아이패드·맥)
• 배터리 잔량, 충전 중 여부, 측정 시각
• 원격 재측정 요청 정보: 요청한 기기의 식별자, 요청 시각, 만료 시각

이 호환 기능은 현재 기기의 최신 상태를 갱신하며 배터리 사용 이력을 별도로 쌓지 않습니다. Batteriddle 자체 계정은 만들지 않으며, Apple 계정의 비밀번호나 인증 코드를 앱이 요청하거나 저장하지 않습니다. Mac 직접 연결에 입력하는 Mac 사용자 암호와는 구분됩니다.

호환 기능이 사용되는 상태에서 앱이나 위젯을 수동으로 새로고침하면 재측정 요청 정보를 저장하고 동기화할 수 있습니다. 이 설명은 빌드 5에 남아 있는 정보 처리를 밝히기 위한 것이며, Mac 직접 연결을 위해 다른 기기에 앱을 설치할 필요는 없습니다.

iCloud 저장 위치와 접근

iCloud 동기화 정보는 앱과 위젯이 표시할 수 있도록 기기에 저장되며, 기기 간 동기화를 위해 사용자의 iCloud 개인 데이터베이스(CloudKit)에 저장됩니다. 이 데이터는 사용자의 iCloud 저장 공간에 포함됩니다. Mac 직접 연결이 등록된 아이폰·아이패드는 직접 연결 방식만 사용하며 iCloud 기기 목록을 함께 갱신하지 않습니다.

개발자는 Mac 로그인 암호, 연결 정보, 배터리 정보나 재측정 요청을 별도 서버로 받지 않습니다. 다른 사용자의 iCloud 개인 데이터는 개발자 콘솔에서 볼 수 없습니다. 개발자가 자신의 Apple 계정으로 시험한 데이터는 그 계정 소유자로서 확인할 수 있습니다.

iCloud의 저장·전송과 서비스 운영은 Apple이 제공합니다. Apple 서비스의 정보 처리에는 Apple 개인정보 처리방침과 해당 서비스 약관이 적용됩니다.

분석·광고·추적

Batteriddle 앱에는 개발자용 이용 분석이나 광고·추적 도구가 없습니다. 배터리 정보를 광고나 다른 사용자의 기기 탐색에 사용하지 않습니다. Apple이 기기 설정에 따라 처리하는 시스템 진단 정보는 Apple의 정책을 따릅니다.

보관과 삭제

Mac 직접 연결을 앱에서 삭제하면 해당 연결의 설정과 배터리 캐시를 지우고 키체인 암호 삭제를 요청합니다. 앱만 삭제하면 키체인 항목이 남을 수 있으므로, 연결 정보를 지우려면 먼저 앱에서 연결을 삭제하세요. 개발자는 사용자의 키체인 항목을 대신 조회하거나 삭제할 수 없습니다.

iCloud 호환 기능이 저장한 기기의 최신 기록과 마지막으로 동기화한 정보는 사용자가 삭제할 때까지 남을 수 있습니다. 앱을 삭제해도 iCloud에 저장된 데이터는 자동으로 삭제되지 않을 수 있습니다.

iCloud 재측정 요청은 요청한 기기별로 최신 한 건만 저장합니다. 요청의 유효기간은 60초이며, 만료된 요청은 처리 대상에서 제외합니다. 만료 시 기록이 자동으로 삭제되지는 않으므로, 다음 요청으로 갱신하거나 사용자가 삭제할 때까지 iCloud에 남을 수 있습니다.

동기화를 완전히 중단하려면 사용하는 모든 기기에서 앱을 종료하고 삭제하세요. iCloud에 남은 앱 데이터는 Apple 계정의 iCloud 저장 공간 관리 기능에서 확인하고 삭제할 수 있습니다. 메뉴와 제공되는 항목은 운영체제 버전에 따라 다릅니다. 앱을 다시 실행하면 기기 기록이 새로 저장될 수 있습니다.

Apple의 iCloud 저장 공간 관리 안내를 참고하세요. 개발자는 다른 사용자의 개인 iCloud 기록에 접근할 수 없어 대신 삭제할 수 없습니다.

Direct Mac connections

To read battery status over SSH from a Mac with Remote Login enabled, the app processes:

• An app-generated connection identifier, display name, Mac address, and port
• The Mac username and the login password you enter
• The trusted SSH host-key fingerprint and connection status
• The retrieved battery level, charging status, and last-updated time

Connection settings, host-key fingerprints, and cached readings are stored in the device's App Group storage shared by the app and widget. The password is used to connect; after a successful connection, it is stored in the device's Keychain shared by the app and widget. The item uses AfterFirstUnlockThisDeviceOnly accessibility, so it is available after the first unlock following a restart and is specific to that device. iCloud Keychain synchronization is disabled.

Battery queries use encrypted SSH communication directly between your iPhone or iPad and the Mac you connect. They do not pass through a developer server. The app does not upload these connection details or SSH battery readings to CloudKit. This mode does not require an iCloud login.

Finding and connecting to Macs on the local network uses the iOS local network permission. Discovery results are not sent to the developer. Operating-system services such as device backups follow your settings and Apple's policies.

iCloud compatibility retained in build 5

The current iOS build 5 binary still includes the existing CloudKit sync code. With one or more direct Mac connections configured, it uses SSH instead. Without a direct connection, and when iCloud is available, it can read existing device records and save the current device's status. This processes:

• A random device identifier generated by the app
• The device name and type (iPhone, iPad, or Mac)
• Battery level, charging status, and measurement time
• Remote refresh request data: the requesting device identifier, request time, and expiry time

This compatibility functionality updates each device's latest reading rather than maintaining a separate battery-usage history. There is no Batteriddle account. The app does not request or store your Apple Account password or verification codes. These are distinct from the Mac login password used for direct connections.

Manual refresh in the app or widget can store and synchronize refresh request data while this compatibility functionality is active. This explains data handling retained in build 5; direct Mac connections do not require an app on another device.

iCloud storage and access

iCloud sync data is stored locally for display in the app and widgets, and in your private iCloud database (CloudKit) to synchronize your devices. Private database storage counts toward your iCloud storage quota. An iPhone or iPad with a direct Mac connection configured uses that mode exclusively, without refreshing the iCloud device list alongside it.

The developer does not receive Mac passwords, connection settings, battery data, or refresh requests on a separate server and cannot view other users' private iCloud records in the developer console. The developer can access test data in their own Apple Account as that account's owner.

Apple provides iCloud storage, transport, and service operation. Apple's handling of service data is governed by the Apple Privacy Policy and applicable service terms.

Analytics, advertising, and tracking

The Batteriddle app contains no developer analytics, advertising, or tracking tools. Battery data is not used for advertising or discovery of other users' devices. System diagnostics processed by Apple according to your device settings are governed by Apple's policies.

Retention and deletion

Deleting a Mac connection in the app removes its settings and cached readings and requests deletion of its Keychain password. Deleting only the app may leave Keychain items behind, so remove connections in the app first. The developer cannot access or delete your Keychain items on your behalf.

Device records and cached readings from iCloud compatibility functionality may remain until you delete them. Deleting the app may not delete data already stored in iCloud.

Only the latest iCloud refresh request from each requesting device is stored. Requests are valid for 60 seconds; expired requests are not processed. Expiry does not automatically delete the record, which may remain in iCloud until a newer request replaces it or you delete the app's iCloud data.

To stop syncing completely, close and remove the app from all your devices. You can review and delete remaining app data through your Apple Account's iCloud storage-management features. Available items and menu names vary by operating-system version. Opening the app again can create new device records.

Support email

If you email support, your sender address and the content you choose to send are processed in the developer's mailbox to respond to your request. Battery records are not attached automatically. You may contact us about retention or deletion of support correspondence.
