Batteriddle
ssh minsu@MacBook.local이면 계정은minsu, 맥 주소는MacBook.local입니다.
for key in /etc/ssh/ssh_host_*_key.pub; do ssh-keygen -lf "$key" -E sha256; done

pyospect@gmail.comBatteriddle Guide
Your MacBook battery. Just the iPhone app.
Install Batteriddle on your iPhone and set up Remote Login on your Mac once. Check battery level and charging status without installing another app on the Mac.
First connection
- On the Mac, open System Settings → General → Sharing → Remote Login. Turn it on, choose “Only these users,” and allow the Mac account you will use. Full disk access is not required.
- Find the account's short name and Mac address in the Remote Login instructions. For example, in
ssh minsu@MacBook.local, the account isminsuand the address isMacBook.local. - Connect the iPhone and Mac to the same local network. Open Batteriddle on iPhone, tap +, and allow the local network permission request.
- Select a discovered Mac or enter its address. Enter the Mac account's short name and login password, then tap Connect. Use the Mac login password, rather than your Apple Account or Touch ID.
- Check the address and SSH host-key fingerprint in the first Mac confirmation, then tap Trust. The MacBook battery appears in the list when connected.
If your Mac settings look different, see Apple's Remote Login guide. No iCloud login or shortcut is needed for this connection.
Widgets and refresh
- Touch and hold the iPhone Home Screen, open Add Widget, and choose Batteriddle.
- Tap refresh in the app or widget to reconnect and read the Mac battery. Check the last-updated time alongside the reading.
A sleeping or disconnected Mac may leave the last saved reading on screen. iOS controls background execution and widget refresh timing, so immediate updates are not guaranteed.
Requires iOS 17 or later. The same app also supports iPadOS 17 or later.
Common questions
Why can't I find or connect to the Mac?
Check that the Mac is awake, Remote Login is on, and the Mac account you entered is allowed access. Enter the address manually if discovery does not find it. Allow Batteriddle's local network access in iPhone settings. Public or guest Wi-Fi may block connections between devices.
Why are my username or password rejected?
Enter the short account name shown in Remote Login settings, rather than the Mac user's full display name. Use the Mac login password. Even if you normally unlock the Mac with Touch ID, this connection needs the password.
How can I check the first host-key fingerprint?
Run the command below in Terminal on the Mac you want to connect. Compare the SSH host public-key fingerprints with the SHA256: value shown in the app.
for key in /etc/ssh/ssh_host_*_key.pub; do ssh-keygen -lf "$key" -E sha256; done
This reads public-key information without changing Mac settings. If the app reports a changed key, verify the Mac and address before setting up the connection again.
Can I use it away from home?
Your iPhone must have a network route to the Mac. The usual setup uses the same local network. Remote access needs a separately configured route such as a VPN; Batteriddle does not create one. A sleeping Mac is not guaranteed to respond.
Where are my connection details and password stored?
Settings and cached readings are stored on iPhone. Passwords use that device's Keychain shared by the app and widget. Connections go directly to your Mac without a developer server. See the Privacy Policy for storage and deletion details.
